Boddika & Joy O “Swims”

Chooooon… a belligerent sample of Tronco Traxx’s ’95 burner “Walk 4 Me” mingling with a fearless & cheeky acid-wash bassline that perfectly melds the sounds of Joy O and Instra:mental’s Boddika into one hell of a banger. It really is no surprise that “Swims” has had so many frothing at the bit for so long – it simmers with the distinct rugged minimalism that both of these dudes developed over 2011 (think Joy O “Jels”, Boddika “Warehouse”). A darrrrrk dancefloor type ting that oozed promises through much of the last year… well, words were kept; Swims 12″ is finally set for delivery January 13th (pre-order now) via the tightly-sealed camp that is Swamp81.
