The first Victoria Night Life Awards happened this past Sunday & our team popped up in a few categories. While we gotta hi-5 Longshanks for winning best dubstep DJ (next year he’s got his sights set on best MC!), we wanted to shout out a couple of specific peeps…

CaBfRee aka sub⏐division’s visual director aka the dude responsible for Victoria Night Life’s BEST GRAPHIC DESIGN. We were too wasted to remember who actually won that award, but no one can front on CaBfRee’s work over the last year. sub⏐division’s consistent imagery & aesthetic is as much a part of our swag as our ill shows & killer residents. We’re so proud to have this dude keeping us looking flyer than the rest.

Annnnd Rhythmicon aka Victoria’s Best Dubstep DJ. Anyone involved in Victoria’s dedicated bass community knows Quinn Dawson & his impeccable skills as a selectah. And while he’s navigated new sounds over the last year pushing UK Funky & garage, when it’s time to kill it at 70 bpm, nobody fucks with this dude. He will out-deep, out-wobble, out-tech anyone. All while being the most humble cat in the scene.

We’re a lucky crew – it’s so dope to have such dynamic cats on our team repping so hard in so many different avenues. Mad love to our whole team & all of our supporters. Looking forward to Jacques Greene & Ramadanman!
